Lisa has been a beloved member of The Music Place faculty since
2002, leading her two musical sisters to serve here as well.
A gifted teacher and inspiring musician, Lisa's gentle yet
thorough approach has encouraged dozens of students and families alike.
Because of her often full teaching schedule, many families place
younger siblings on a wait list to begin instruction with her. She is
the eldest of three gifted siblings in a musical Asian-American family
that has been part of the leadership of the local Music Teacher's
Association for many years. Lisa is a natural-born teacher, serving as
an inspiration to many young teachers in training. Although
Lisa's primary instrument is viola, she regularly teaches violin and
piano on which she is wonderfully skilled as well.
In addition to completing her music education at San Jose State University, Lisa is a skilled graphic artist. She lives in the Rose Garden area and is part of a small church family in the area.

I tell everyone who will listen about the amazing introduction to music that our daughter is getting with the Music Place. People are always amazed when a 3-year old explains that she played an oboe last week and is going to play a piccolo next week! Most importantly, our daughter can't wait for music class & asks to go every day. -- The Pace Family
