PETER S.

Photo of Peter Peter has been a well loved teacher of guitar, piano, electric bass and ukelele at The Music Place since 2000. A graduate of Brownsville School of Ministry, he started learning piano and guitar at the age of 13. At first, Peter was self-taught in guitar and later was classically trained. He has played in a number of bands and his students now enjoy Peter's use of technology available at our Main Office to produce a CD or MP3 of their in-class performances. Having found a career he loves, Peter illustrates this in the kind and patient way he instructs his students at The Music Place--where he has been a diligent and dependable employee for almost 10 years.

Peter grew up in a music loving home and was fortunate to have a mother who was a music teacher. His first piano lessons were from her. Before working at The Music Place, Peter worked with children at his church in the Sunday school program. Peter is the devoted father of two young boys and is also involved with the Music Ministry at Harbor Light Church in Fremont.
