With parents who play trumpet, piano, harp, and zither, it was natural for Trevor to get involved with music. He studied piano as a child, guitar as a teenager, and earned his BFA in Music from Cal Arts in Valencia, with an emphasis in guitar performance. He has studied classical, jazz, rock, and pop, and enjoys teaching all these genres.
Trevor has been teaching since 2010, and joined The Music Place teaching faculty in 2014. He regularly performs in solo and group ensembles, such as with a mandolin orchestra which was honored to open for the San Francisco Symphony, and with his accomplished band.
In addition to performing frequently and volunteering at his church in Fremont, Trevor's hobbies include hiking, camping, and canoeing.
Tevor is fun and easy-going, and has a knack for recognizing a student's musical potential. In his own quiet way, he does ask a lot of his students, but nothing beyond their ability. His first experience teaching was as an Eagle Scout, and his interpersonal skills learned through his experience in the Boy Scouts couple well with his skills in music.

"Our daughter, Melissa, loves her music class, and she looks forward to the recitals. She's made friends and become more confident. We'd recommend the Music Place to anyone. -- Melissa's parents, Kathy & Matt, Los Gatos" .
I tell everyone who will listen about the amazing introduction to music that our daughter is getting with the Music Place. People are always amazed when a 3-year old explains that she played an oboe last week and is going to play a piccolo next week! Most importantly, our daughter can't wait for music class & asks to go every day. -- The Pace Family
