As a child, Jason was surrounded by music which inspired the broad-based musician he is today. Starting with piano lessons, as a young child, he went on to pursue intensive study in voice, music theory and then fell in love with guitar and most fretted instruments. With piano as his foundation and guitar and voice as his strong suit, he began both teaching and composing in high school. Currently leading a local band, he is passionate about both performance and instruction.
Jason moved to the South Bay in 2022 and was excited to find a school where his energetic personality was welcomed and where training to hone his skills as a teacher was encouraged. Having grown up in Texas, he enjoys the variety of culture in the South Bay and has expecially enjoyed teaching the youngest children using the signature Early Music Awareness program.
In his spare time, Jason enjoys jamming with other musicians, learning and spending time with his girlfriend Camille.
