Preethi began her musical training with The Music Place at the age of 4 and has been singing and playing the piano ever since. She was involved in many theater productions at her high school including High School Musical Jr. and The Sound of Music. In 2015, she was selected into the ACDA National Honor Choir and performed in Minneapolis and also with the Mormon Tabernacle Choir in Salt Lake City. She has since achieved First Class Honors in all levels of Royal Conservatory for voice and completed the highest levels in both voice and piano in 2019. 

She currently sings soprano in the world renounced choir ensemble Cantabile Youth Singers of Silicon Valley, and has had the privilege of performing with them at Carnegie Hall in June 2018. Preethi has participated in many national and international competitions and competed at the 2019 European Choir Games in Sweden. She was also selected to represent Team USA at the World Championships of Performing Arts in July 2018 where she performed “Der Hölle Rache” from Mozart’s The Magic Flute Opera. She also is fluent in English and Tamil.

Preethi is grateful to be able share her love of music. She makes sure her students understand the basics and foundations of their instrument, while also keeping classes fun and motivating. Her focus is to show each student how awesome their instrument truly is, so they can learn to fully appreciate it while growing in their mastery.
